Apprenticeship Program at Covenant Harbor Bible Camp
back to the top
Summary:
The Covenant Harbor Apprentice Ministry Program (CHAMP) focuses on Christ-like character and leadership development.
Details:
The experience takes place at Covenant Harbor Bible Camp. Covenant Harbor has 54 beautiful wooded acres on Geneva Lake in Southeastern Wisconsin. A majority of the CHAMP responsibilities are with the Snake Road Adventure Center programs facilitating ropes course, climbing tower and outdoor education programs. As a CHAMP you may also help in other camp departments including Guest Relations, Facilities, Food Service and Youth Ministry. The "program" and "mentoring & discipling" aspects of the experience will be both intentional (set, regular times of individual and group interaction) and informal ("normal" day to day interactions and situations). As an Apprentice you will receive room, board and a weekly salary. You will also have specific structure given to your experience that enhances your learning, exploring and reflection. This will help you seek and discern what the Lord’s will is for your life and mature as a person and disciple of Christ. The experience is designed for a nine to 12 month commitment. Shorter times are possible, but not the ideal. Please contact us for more information and an application. The experience is an opportunity for intentional growth in a fun, challenging and encouraging environment. If you feel uncertain about what your next step in life should be or want to gain experience, training and spiritual guidance, this could be for you. Our role is providing opportunities, yours is engaging the opportunities.

Cafe 1040 Inc
Summary:
Cafe 1040 is based on the premise that God is raising up a generation of globally minded college students with an amazing passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to train and equip a part of this generation to fulfill its calling...to take the gospel to the unreached world. The focus of our ministry is to train college students and recent graduates to be missionaries to the unreached world. We believe that the best way to accomplish this is by taking them inside the unreached world for training. We will conduct this training over one 12-week semester in Muslim North Africa or Southeast Asia. While in-country, students will study language, history and culture, technology, and the religion of that area, allowing them to see and experience the culture first-hand. They will spend time in coffee houses with local college students and on excursions into different areas of the country, exposing students to the peoples of the regions of the countries that they are learning about. The ultimate goal is to allow students to prove to themselves that they have the ability to follow God's calling...wherever it may be. We are currently looking for adventurous and godly people (especially/but not limited to those with overseas experience) to fill two different positions, Student Mentor & Student Coordinator. For a full description of these roles and others please contact us through our website or email address.
